At Sisu, a San Francisco-based company that has created a world-class diagnostic platform for structured data, they’re not just focused on providing a great customer experience — they also strive to offer an excellent experience for their own talented team members. Consequently, the company is always looking for ways to show gratitude for and foster a sense of community among employees. As part of our ongoing partnership with Sisu, they came to us for a set of company swag, which ended up including employee anniversary pins, kids’ T-shirts, and a baby beanie.

To make sure the products we designed felt authentic to the team, we drew inspiration from various elements within the organization. The custom lapel pins — a set of four to be given to employees on their work anniversaries — incorporated a varsity theme, a nod to Sisu’s tradition of greeting new employees with “Welcome to varsity.” We captured that team spirit with energetic imagery and fun insider details, like company-specific catchphrases and the CEO’s penchant for giving everyone high fives after all-hands meetings.

To show appreciation for the parents at Sisu, we also created toddlers’ T-shirts and baby beanies for their children. We gave a shout-out to the company’s tagline, “the fastest time to why” — reflecting Sisu’s ability to go beyond simply churning out data to provide meaningful diagnostics quicker than anybody else — with the T-shirt copy, and paired it with playful patterns and graphics made of the company logo.

Beyond just designing the company swag, we helped get it produced, working with local vendors to create high-quality products that felt personal and thoughtful, all the way from ideation to execution and delivery.
